Customer Review from Amazon.co.uk
4 stars - This is one of the few MCQ books available and the best I have used so far. The only other recent book is by PasTest which divides the questions into subject headings. If you want to practise doing papers, this is the better book to get. As a bonus at the end it includes an excellent short guide to answering the written part of the exam. It gives a list of headings to use as templates for answering the critical reading and is an excellent place to start.

The MRCGP examination MCQ module changed its format in the Spring of 2002. This book is presented in the same format as the new MCQ module with three complete new MRCGP MCQ module exam papers, including a comprehensive selection of single best answers (SBAs), multiple best answers (MBAs), sentence completion, algorithms and extended matching questions (EMQs). The book covers all relevant hot topics, It provides tips on how to pass the MRCGP written paper module, and provides a sample new NPMS paper as an alternative to an audit project for summative assessment.

This is an essential revision tool for all GP registrars, newly-appointed general practitioners and candidates for the MRCGP exam. The author trained in medicine in the USA and moved to the UK to practice. She has recently passed the new format MRCGP exam and has written several popular exam texts, including PLAB, DRCOG and MRCP: Part1.
