This is followed by individual chapters covering each of the six types of station: communication skills, history taking and management planning, structured oral (viva), short cases, neuro-developmental cases, and child development cases. Each chapter contains an overview of general skills that are being tested by the station, followed by a series of worked examples, including things the examiner will be looking out for, and ‘do’s and don’ts’ for the highest marks.
Written by two newly qualified GPs who have recently passed the new-style DCH Clinical, as well as a senior GP with Specialist Interest in Paediatrics, Get Through DCH Clinical is an essential guide for all candidates preparing for this difficult exam.
